Latoya Belfon

Latoya Belfon is a visionary Christian entrepreneur, award-winning publisher, educator, author, speaker, and intellectual property strategist whose work is rooted in faith, leadership, and legacy. She is the Founder and CEO of Labworks Publishing Inc., the Co-Founder of Christian Women in Business, Empowered Women in Lit, and Brandality Solutions Inc. Through her companies and initiatives, she has become known for building platforms that empower authors, women, and creatives to move with clarity, confidence, and ownership.

As a 4-time Amazon best-selling author and publishing leader, Latoya has helped hundreds of authors, entrepreneurs, and visionaries bring their books, brands, and ideas to life. Her work spans publishing, education, creative strategy, leadership development, mentorship, and community impact, all while championing excellence, purpose, and representation. She is deeply committed to helping others steward what God has placed in their hands and transform vision into tangible legacy.

Latoya’s influence extends far beyond business. Through Empowered Women in Lit, she helps create space for diverse voices in literature and meaningful conversations around storytelling, identity, power, and cultural influence. Through Christian Women in Business, she supports women in building businesses anchored in faith, wisdom, integrity, and impact. Her leadership reflects a rare blend of strategy, creativity, bold vision, and spiritual conviction, making her a trusted voice for women called to build with purpose.

Her work and impact have been recognized through numerous honours, including the Woman of Merit Award, CBC Black Changemaker recognition, the Black History Month Laureate 2026 honour, recognition as one of the Top 100 Accomplished Black Women in Canada, and recognition as one of the Top 100 Black Women to Watch. With more than 30 community awards celebrating her leadership and service, Latoya Belfon continues to build what she was called to build: platforms that honour God, elevate others, preserve stories, and leave a lasting mark for generations to come.
